Random thoughts...
Cal was my dream, but was it ever my dream to be average? I hate being average! ....but I guess it's better than being BELOW average. whatever. Asian failing sucks, but this is worse! I'm coping, I guess. My heart hurts though and I still feel barfious. Maybe some Jack Johnson will make me feel better. (They're doing a sound check right now.)....or shopping.
Shopping. The roomies and I are going to hunt for Halloween costumes this weekend. We're so excited! We're going to be Josie and the Pussycats. I get to be the black girl! => My friend thought I was black the other day. Must have been the hat I was wearing... So shopping....Maybe the atmosphere of the city will get my spirits up. It's so alive at night. I was there for a play (Tom Stoppard's "Night and Day"...very funny!) last night. Good stuff! or...
Maybe I just miss home. I don't see how that will heal my disease though. Is failure contagious?
This weekend is Homecoming Weekend. What makes Homecoming HOMECOMING? There is no dance like in high school. I don't get it. Neither do my roommates. Is it just a weekend we randomly pick to be called Homecoming so that we can have rallies for the halibut? It made sense in high school....kind of. Well, we play fUCLA tomorrow. I hope I get to go to the game. I hope we win. We lost to U$C last week by 1 stinkin' point...so I heard. meh.
I'm like Ruth Carson in "Night and Day." She talks to herself...thinks random thoughts.....thinks random thoughts within random thoughts......daydreams......etc.....interesting...
blogging is somewhat remedial...but it's almost nap time.

so i was "studying" for our chem midterm and i started making up a character list for my "movie." (in a james bond voice:) "the name's 'bond'---'covalent bond.' and then the evil villain: radical man man man man. later on in the "movie" we find out that radical man has a twin: biradical man. dun Dun DUN! isn't the character list getting exciting? haha....and then there's Lewis structure Lane who is Covalent Bond's lover. haha....ok, that's enough. back to "studying."...i'm so scared...

we (shaz n i) just found out that our rooms are SOOOO RIGHT NEXT to each other. we can talk, or rather, yell, to each other out of our windows. WHOA! sucks cause there's this big tree in the way. meh. so yea...even though we've been here for almost 2 months, i had never visited her room. haha. we're weird. but the visit was great...we had bonding time. yay for girl talk! (tonight's topic: "old flames"...haha....) i missed her "got any gossip?" it was coolies. until...i got trapped in what i like to call Death Star Number Two: Stern! O-M-G....i got so lost and couldnt' find my way out. I still dunno how to get out the right way! I walked AROUND....oh dear. can you say "bad memory"? what am i gonna do when midterms roll around in 3 days? eep. GET ME SOME GINKO!
